Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a contract-to-hire Electrical Hardware Engineer position with a Tulsa company.

The Electrical Hardware Engineer researches, designs, tests, troubleshoots, and documents electrical and electronic systems for industrial robotic internal pipeline equipment. 

Hours: Monday-Friday day shift (some flexibility on start time)

Pay: $70,000-$100,000

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
    Design and test circuit boards, wiring diagrams, and cable harnesses.
    Analyze circuits.
    Produce documentation, write reports, manuals, specifications, and test procedures.
  • Ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operation of equipment conforms to functional specifications and production requirements.
  • Troubleshoot faulty electronic components and equipment.
    Ability to occasionally travel overseas.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from a four-year college or university; and 5+ years of related experience and/or training.
    PCB Design, including knowledge of industry-standard practices for schematics, board layouts, specifications, tolerances, and Gerber files. Experience with KiCad preferred.
    Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic systems from board level to system level. This includes both bench testing and field testing.
    Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, DMMs, etc.). Ability to solder surface mount components.
    Wiring diagram and cable harness design experience.
  • Circuit analysis ability, both manually and with SPICE.
    Experience with DC motors and controls, especially H-Bridge design, testing, and troubleshooting.
