Day Shift Roll Operator

We are currently looking to fill a Roll Operator position with a steel processing plant in west Tulsa,

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6a-4:30p and 6a-12:30p Friday

Pay: $16-$19 DOE

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate rolling machines to process metal materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor machine operations, making necessary adjustments to ensure proper rolling and processing.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on rolling machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and parts replacement as needed.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals and customer requirements.
• Complete production logs and reports as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating rolling machines or similar equipment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of different metal types and their characteristics.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality results.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Dedication to safety and the ability to follow established procedures.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.
