Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Construction Project Manager position with an Tulsa Disaster Restoration company.

Ideal candidate will have a degree or a minimum of 3 years in the construction industry AND experience with insurance claims.

 

Shift: Days; Monday - Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Starting Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 annually; depending on experience

Company truck, fuel card, cell phone, and lap top provided.

Job Duties:

Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple restoration projects of various sizes. PM will be responsible for project once estimate is approved and work with owner and insurance representative to complete projects in a timely manner.

  • Prepare budgets/work orders for subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Coordinate/schedule work for subcontractors on many projects at one time.

  • Track job costs and budget.

Job Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 3 years of insurance restoration project management experience.
  • Ability to run many construction projects and communicate effectively with owners.
  • Experience with construction software programs and ability to build and maintain
    schedules for construction projects.
  • Knowledge and experience of building construction, materials and components.
    Work after hours and weekends during times of elevated weather surges: tornadoes,
    damaging thunderstorms, freezing temperatures, etc.
  • Strong business practice experience.
  • Be proficient in Xactimate with ability to create floor plans in Xactimate sketch.
  • Be familiar with Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Have quick decision-making skills.
  • Be available on last minutes notice.
  • Self-motivating, problem solver.
  • Be available to travel when necessary.
  • Have good communication skills with customers as well as co-workers
  • Demonstrated critical thinking capacity, detail oriented, strong computer skills, communication skills and negotiating skills.
  • Communicate needs to proper centralized sources.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
