Journeyman Plumber
Job Description
Our client, an establish plumbing service company in the Tulsa metro area, is looking for a personable, customer-focused Journeyman Plumber to join their service team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping homeowners solve problems, explaining repair options clearly, and delivering excellent service while performing high-quality plumbing work.
Technicians use an iPad-based system to present repair options, so candidates should be comfortable using technology and communicating professionally with customers.
This role focuses entirely on residential service and repair work. No overnight travel required.
(Some overtime or emergency calls may occasionally arise)
Pay: $25 – $35+ per hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities

Perform residential plumbing service and repair work

Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions

Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repair options, and recommendations

Present service options using an iPad-based platform

Utilize service management software such as Housecall Pro to manage appointments and documentation

Repair and service water heaters, plumbing leaks, and fixtures

Install and service water softening systems

Perform drain cleaning and troubleshooting of plumbing systems

Maintain a professional and customer-focused presence during service calls

Ensure all work meets company safety and quality standards

Maintain a clean and organized company service vehicle and work area
Job Requirements
Qualifications

Journeyman Plumber license required

Experience performing residential plumbing service and repair

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Comfortable interacting with homeowners and explaining solutions clearly

Comfortable using technology such as tablets/iPads for service presentations and documentation

Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills

Valid driver’s license with clear MVR
-
Position is considered safety-sensitive and requires passing a drug screen
