Job Description
We are currently looking to fill a Collections Specialist position with a Tulsa area credit union.
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Collection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of collection experience, with a preference for recent experience in credit union or bank collections.
Hours: 8a-5p
Pay: $16-$19/hr
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contact delinquent accounts via mail, email, and phone to negotiate payment arrangements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions, payment agreements, and follow-up actions in the system.
- Stay up-to-date with collection processes and industry knowledge.
- Attend weekly collections department meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the department.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of collection experience.
- Preferably recent experience in credit union or banking collections.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
