Client Service Specialist
Job Description
Our client, a financial planning firm in Tulsa, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Client Service Specialist to support financial advisors and deliver high-level service to clients. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the financial services industry.
This position offers growth opportunities, including support for obtaining professional licensing.
Salary: $35,000 – $50,000 annually (based on experience)
- Occasional evening participation in client events (approximately 1–2 per month, rotating schedule)
Position Overview
The Client Service Specialist will play a key role in supporting advisors, managing client accounts, and ensuring a seamless client experience. Responsibilities include handling client communications, processing account documentation, and assisting with financial transactions and administrative tasks.
- Support financial advisors with client appointment preparation
- Schedule and coordinate client meetings as needed
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person
- Prepare and process forms for new accounts, account updates, and online access
- Track and follow up on paperwork and account changes
- Execute and track trades and investment transactions per advisor instruction
- Process client checks, distributions, and account transactions
- Assist with rollovers, insurance claims, and account servicing needs
- Maintain organized digital client files and documentation
- Draft correspondence, notes, and follow-up communications
- Conduct account and product research as needed
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal procedures
- Assist with client events and provide support as needed
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Prior experience in financial services or financial planning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred:
- Series 7 license
Licensing & Growth
Candidates are encouraged to obtain their Series 7 license after hire. The company will cover study materials and exam costs, and successful completion will result in a pay increase.
