Job Description
We are currently looking to fill a Civil Engineering position in the greater Tulsa area.

Our client has an opening in their Engineering Department for a Civil Engineer to lead the planning, design, and management of public infrastructure, including streets, water systems, parks, and more. You'll oversee construction, handle public bidding, and collaborate with agencies to ensure the city's infrastructure meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the planning, design, and management of municipal projects, including streets, water systems, and parks.
- Construction Oversight: Supervise the construction of public infrastructure projects to ensure quality and compliance.
- Public Bidding: Handle the public bidding process for projects, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulations.
- Collaboration: Work with various agencies and community groups to coordinate projects and ensure infrastructure meets city standards.
- Personnel Supervision: Manage and supervise engineering personnel, providing guidance and support.
- Strategic Planning and Budgeting: Participate in strategic planning and budgeting for the city's engineering projects.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Public Interaction: Act as a liaison with the public, drafting reports, addressing inquiries, and providing information on infrastructure projects.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (Master's preferred).
- Experience: 5-7 years of relevant municipal experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS is desirable.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Oklahoma or the ability to obtain it within six months is required.
