CNC Machinist / Programmer - Machine Shop Lead

We are currently looking to fill a CNC Machinist/Programmer Lead position with a Catoosa Company.

Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience overseeing the production staff in a manufacturing industry as a Machine Shop Production Supervisor or in a Working Lead role. Must have recent CNC machining experience.

Shift: Day
Hours: 7a-3:30p
Starting Pay: $22 - $28 per hour; Depending on Experience

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of personnel, equipment and facility
• Enforce ethical practices in all dealings with employees, customers and vendors
• Ensure adequate production training and employee compliance to company policies, practices and culture
• Meet deadlines for both internal and external customers
• Direct efficient operation of equipment and facilities
• Maintain efficient operations by periodic review, updates and recommendations on:
  • Processes
  • Programming
  • Tooling and consumables
  • Equipment
• Operate equipment as necessary to meet above objectives

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 3-5 years as a lead in the metals or heavy industrial environment
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Strong ability to be adaptable and flexible
• Possess knowledge and understanding of CNC machine languages, and ability to program various CNC machines
• Possess knowledge and ability to run manual machinery
• Maintain and exhibit consistent, professional leadership skills
• Oversee product accountability and movement from raw material to finished goods
