We are currently looking to fill a CNC Machinist position with a company located in Catoosa, OK.

Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Training schedule will be 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM for the first few weeks
Pay: $20 – $28/hr DOE (higher end for advanced setup, programming, and multi-axis experience)

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machining equipment (mills and/or lathes)

• Edit programs and make offsets and tooling adjustments as needed

• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions

• Select tooling, fixtures, and materials appropriate for each job

• Perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications

• Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, feeds, speeds, and part quality

• Load and unload materials and finished parts using forklifts or hoists as needed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes

• Setup experience required; programming experience is strongly preferred and will command higher pay

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T symbols

• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Familiarity with various materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

• Knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and machining processes

• Ability to troubleshoot machining and quality issues independently

• Forklift or overhead crane experience preferred
