Job Description
We are currently looking to fill a Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant position with a company in Tulsa, OK.
This is a DIRECT HIRE position with a manufacturing company in the Tulsa market, seeking an experienced and skilled Bookkeeper to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, with the ability to manage financial tasks, analyze expenditures, and ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
Pay: $55,000-$60,000 DOE
Hours: 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities:
- Reconcile the company's bank statements and maintain accurate bookkeeping ledgers.
- Analyze employee expenditures, track receipts, and assist in client project budgeting.
- Manage income and expenditure accounts, create quarterly and annual projections, conduct P&L analysis, and perform break-even analysis.
- Generate comprehensive financial reports using income and expenditure data to support informed decision-making.
- Monitor and assess the company's financial status, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial health.
- File and remit tax filing documents to the company's CPA firm, ensuring compliance with all financial obligations.
- Initiate and manage financial and accounting software utilized by the company to streamline financial processes.
- Take ownership of payroll management, as well as accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field w/ 2-3 years of proven experience as an accountant or bookkeeper OR 4-6 years of solid Bookkeeping in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks desktop or online software.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with utmost confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.
