Job Description

Our client is a locally owned and growing asphalt and concrete company that provides a wide range of pavement services, including parking lots, driveway installations, overlays, patching, seal coating, crack repair, and striping. They are seeking hardworking, reliable individuals to join their team as Asphalt Laborers / Equipment Operators.

Pay

  • $16–$17/hr – General Labor (no CDL)

  • $18–$20+/hr – CDL B candidates

Hours

  • Around 40 hours per week

  • Weather dependent schedule

  • Start times vary, earliest at 6:00 AM

What You’ll Do

  • Perform general labor duties such as shoveling, sweeping, and assisting with asphalt and concrete projects.

  • Operate equipment such as bobcats, rollers, and dozers.

  • Regularly lift 40 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Report to the shop in Sand Springs, OK each morning before heading to job sites with the crew.

  • Support the crew in preparing, laying, and finishing surfaces for residential and commercial projects.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license (CDL B strongly preferred but not required).

  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs. regularly and perform physically demanding tasks such as shoveling, raking, sweeping, bending, and standing for long periods of time.

  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).

  • Equipment operation experience a plus (bobcat, roller, dozer, skid steer, or other construction equipment).

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English to follow safety instructions and complete paperwork.

  • Punctual and dependable – able to meet at the Sand Springs shop daily before riding out with the crew.

  • Team player with strong communication skills and willingness to help wherever needed.

  • Safety-minded and able to follow all company and OSHA safety policies.

  • Previous asphalt, paving, or construction experience preferred but not required (will train motivated candidates).
