What You’ll Do:
- Document Production: Assist architects in creating detailed construction documents using CAD and BIM software.
- Coordination: Work closely with multiple design disciplines to ensure seamless integration of construction documents.
- 3D Modeling: Utilize building information modeling (BIM) in all project phases to bring designs to life.
- Design Software: Apply 2D CAD drafting, 3D computer modeling, and BIM software techniques to support project needs.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with architects and project teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the production of construction documents for the construction industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD software (experience with AutoCAD, particularly Architectural AutoCAD, is a plus).
- BIM Experience: Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling and a willingness to learn ArchiCAD.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in construction or architecture is highly valued.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a variety of design projects.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on design software.
- Fine motor skills for precise computer modeling and document creation.
