Apartment Maintenance Assistant

We are currently looking to fill an Apartment Maintenance Assistant position with a local Property Management company.

Ideal candidate will have experience in residential maintenance and have confidence in their painting and drywall abilities in addition to other minor repairs.

Shift: Day
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $13-$15/HR DOE

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Light plumbing/electrical (repair toilets/sinks/clear clogged drains/switch out light fixture)
• Painting
• Drywall
• Clean up/trash haul off
• Appliance repair (change out dishwasher handle/soap dispenser, change out garbage disposals)
• Make readies - must be able to turn a unit quickly if needed
• Will be required to perform regular preventative maintenance such as cleaning a/c coils, changing out filters, smoke alarm batteries, etc.
• Light grounds upkeep - minor fence repair/tree/shrub trimming

Requirements/Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of maintenance/make ready experience
• Must be able to work independently, must be motivated and trustworthy
• Must be proficient with time and will be required to perform a certain amount of duties each day.
• Must possess valid Driver's License
