Job Description
Our client in Broken Arrow, OK, is seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join their 2nd shift team.
This role is essential in the manufacturing process, focusing on setting up and operating an NC-controlled multi-axis laser to perform precision cutting on parts. The ideal candidate will ensure all parts meet required specifications, maintain material inventory accuracy, and uphold organizational standards.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay: $18 - $22/hr DOE + $2 Shift Differential

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate an NC multi-axis laser for precision cutting.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and CNC programs to determine optimal machine settings.
- Adjust CNC controls to correct malfunctions and ensure compliance with part specifications.
- Conduct trial runs and inspections to verify program accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and material organization.
- Input machine settings such as power, frequency, gas pressure, and speed rates.
- Utilize ERP systems to log material transactions and job tracking.
- Follow all safety policies and company procedures.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CNC programs.
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills for precise measurements.
- Experience with CNC programming, laser operation, and machine troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, Oracle, or D365).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a technical school preferred.
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
