Job Description
We are currently looking to fill a Driver position with a company in Tulsa, OK specializing in paper shredding.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients, commercial or residential, with a background in box truck driving or delivery. Customer Service skills are equally important as occasional conversations and interactions with clients are to be expected throughout the day.
Hours: 7a-4p
Pay: $17-$20/hr
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to and from client locations.
- Plan and organize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet scheduled delivery times.
- Interact with clients in a courteous and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Verify all services with clients, ensuring accuracy and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving and delivering goods.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or delays to the appropriate supervisor or manager promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, both internally and externally.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Candidate must be 21+
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to present well to clients.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet delivery schedules.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes.
- Professional and presentable appearance when interacting with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
